#153 Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park

For Christina’s Birthday, Corey and I decided to take her to lunch at Tea House 650 after I got out of work. This time I had the Caramel Crème Brûlèe hot tea with the Tea House Special Gourmet Sandwich. I also had the orange cranberry scone and a chicken pot pie with fresh fruit. It was amazing. after, we went to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. The park (or zoo) showcases native Florida wildlife, including manatees, black bears, bobcats, white-tailed deer, American alligators, American crocodiles, and river otters. I also got to see flamingos for the first time! Anyway we parked at the welcome center which is actually not the entrance to the park. We took a boat ride down pepper creek in order to get there. We took the tram back at the end of the day. It was a fun day. A bit cold but great weather for walking and enjoying the park with out sweating to death. I purchased the Florida State Parks annual pass so I will definitely be coming back. Several times. As well as visiting other cool parks throughout the summer!
