#90 Withlacoochee State Trail

Back in July a few of us (Diana, Ashley, Brandon, and myself) went geocaching, finishing the day off with dinner at the Coney Island Drive Inn (read here). However, in all their years of living here, Corey and Christina had never eaten there. When we were all sitting around the living room yesterday afternoon trying to figure out what to do and where to eat, I suggested that they give Coney a try. It was a great choice. We had a very decent, low cost meal.

After, Corey decided to start driving. Where? We had no clue. We got lost. Kept driving and driving with no sign on how to get back home. Eventually, we came upon a familiar road and realized we were a bit away from home, by the Withlacoochee State Trail. Corey mentioned that he’d always wanted to cross the bridge on the trail, so we parked and decided to do just that. It was a bit of a walk, but it was beautiful and fun.

We had to hurry back soon after, as Corey had to work, but Christina stayed with us the rest of the day. We went to Target, Starbucks, and played games like Phase 10 all night until Corey came to pick her up.

I didn’t get to bed till well past 4AM and was up bright and early. I do not understand why. The day was spent at Nina’s pool where we played, swam, and danced in the rain. Pretty fun weekend. Now I must go pass out for I am exhausted and have work tomorrow.
